Hryhoriy Skovoroda is eminent Ukrainian teacher-humanist, philosopher, poet, painter and musician. He was born on December 3, 1722 in Poltava province a Cossack family. graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Academia. worked as teacher of poetry Pereyaslav Seminary Kharkiv Collegium. attempted humanize democratize authoritarian education system. But him not allowed to do it. dismissed. decides go the poor people teach them. taught be free put freedom above power money. Teacher educated miserable children goodness beauty. read for pupils. Сhildren еspecially liked Skovoroda’s fables. Poet ridiculed vices society sang virtues personality. played pipe bandura violin. folk songs about national heroes. opened world knowledge. Pupils leaned seven arts: music, rhetoric, astronomy, grammar, arithmetic, geometry dialectics. aspired educate all-round personalities. Especially much attention spared creative development child. invented fairy-tales, drew, play music instruments.
 The fame disinterested fast spread throughout Ukraine beyond. Wherever went, met with bread salt. Не became popular philosopher. gave all his heart soul. give people.
